Another day of training camps is officially in the books! Here are 5 key takeaways from the recent sessions:

• Raiders Head coach Klint Kubiak named veteran Kirk Cousins the starting quarterback over rookie first-round pick Fernando Mendoza to begin camp. 

• Giants Wide receiver Malik Nabers avoided the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and is trending toward a Week 1 return. 

• Steelers DB Jalen Ramsey opened camp on the PUP list due to a knee injury from minicamp. 

• Eagles Jalen Carter agreed to a massive four-year, $152 million contract extension, locking him in through 2031. This makes him the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history. 

• For the first time in years, the Cowboys opened camp with zero players on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) or Non-Football Injury (NFI) lists.

Tua's efficiency drastically shifts depending on the thermometer. In games played where the weather is 45 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer (or in domes), he boasts an elite 36-16 record with a passer rating over 101. However, his production famously plummets in true cold weather, which heavily factored into his transition to the Atlanta Falcons, where he plays in a completely controlled environment at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
