A former cast member just revealed the real reason why the broadcasting giant canceled one of its hit shows.

Most football fans know him as Bill Parcells, but his real first name is actually Duane. The Hall of Fame coach picked up the nicknames "Bill" and "Chubby" while growing up. But neither became nearly as famous as the moniker that followed him throughout his coaching career: "The Big Tuna." Contrary to popular belief, though, this had nothing to do with Parcells' eating habits!

During his lone season as the Patriots' linebackers coach in 1980, Parcells felt some of his players were trying to pull a fast one on him. Frustrated, he snapped, “Who do you think I am? Charlie the Tuna?” - a reference to the gullible cartoon fish from StarKist's popular 1970s commercials. Parcells repeated that line enough, and considering his larger-than-life personality and physique, players soon began calling him “The Big Tuna.”
