The Hall of Fame Game couldn’t have asked for a better ending. Trailing late in the 4th quarter, Haynes King put the entire team on his back.

Down to the final play on the 5-yard line, no timeouts, zero seconds remaining, he did the unthinkable. Watch the full game-ending breakdown here!

Another day of training camps is officially in the books! Here are our key takeaways from the recent sessions:

  • Browns backup guard Zak Zinter left the practice field on a cart, while the secondary continued to dominate periods.

  • The Packers held Practice No.7 on August 6th, and the session was closed to the fans. However, Mike Spofford of Packers.com detailed how the first-team offense and Jordan Love spent the day facing a heavy array of blitzes to test their protection communication.

  • Jets head coach Aaron Glenn announced that rookie first-round tight end Kenyon Sadiq suffered a setback in his core-muscle surgery rehab and will miss several weeks of camp, though he is expected back for Week 1.

Haynes King’s ties to the NFL run deep through his father, John King, who is a Texas high school coaching legend at Longview High School. Growing up in that locker room, Haynes was raised in a football pipeline that directly produced perennial NFL Pro-Bowler Trent Williams, along with numerous other FBS and NFL stars.

Bonus: Before stepping onto the field for his debut, King stated his two primary goals were to prove he belonged in the NFL and to meet Panthers legend Luke Kuechly personally. Kuechly was in Canton to be officially enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
