Another day of training camps is officially in the books! Here are our key takeaways from the recent sessions:

• Max Crosby is putting health concerns behind him. After surgery in the off-season, he was seen wrecking practice reps in training camp.

• Aaron Rodgers looks set to break tradition. Head coach Mike McCarthy wants him on the field in the preseason games. Rodgers’s training camp will be spent preparing to take on the Green Bay Packers and the New York Jets.

• New England Patriots receiver A.J. Brown isn’t letting injury slow him down. After dislocating a thumb during a one-on-one red zone drill, Brown came back to the field with his left thumb taped and carried on.

• Rookie Carson Beck is proving himself in camp. On Monday, his biggest highlight came in the pocket as he calmly avoided the pass-rush and made a deep throw. Despite splitting reps with Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew, Beck is making progress.

Starting in 2020, Aaron Rodgers struck a deal with Pat McAfee to do a weekly, unfiltered hour-long interview every Tuesday during the season on The Pat McAfee Show.

Rather than taking canned answers from a crowded room of beat writers at a podium, Rodgers dialed in from his couch (often in a hoodie with a mug of tea).
