Tua Tagovailoa Addresses Dolphins Giving Up Against Panthers

October 06, 2025 Edition #142

👋 Hey football fans,

Sunday was full of surprises. The Broncos erased a big deficit to hand the Eagles their first loss, the Ravens fell again to the Texans, and both New York teams came up short. Road upsets by the Commanders and Buccaneers, plus the previously undefeated Bills fell to the Patriots. Let’s unpack all the wild moments from the day in this special post-game edition.

Broncos Stun Eagles With Fourth-Quarter Surge

Denver erased a 17-3 deficit with 18 unanswered points in the fourth to hand Philadelphia its first loss. Bo Nix came alive late, throwing an 11-yard TD to Evan Engram and connecting with Troy Franklin on a two-point conversion, while J.K. Dobbins added a 2-yard rushing score. Relive the shocking win in highlights here!

Denver’s defense dominated, sacking Jalen Hurts six times and forcing six straight third-down stops, as Philadelphia stalled with penalties and three punts, with only Saquon Barkley’s 47-yard TD standing out in the second half.

Cowboys Roll, Jets Hit Rock Bottom

Dak Prescott and Javonte Williams put the Jets on a poster for how to get blown out. Prescott threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns, Williams ran for 132 yards and a score, and Ryan Flournoy added 104 receiving yards by halftime as the Cowboys handled New York 37-22. All without six of their top players, including CeeDee Lamb.

The Jets? Still a mess. Justin Fields threw two late TDs after Dallas had already put the game away. Five sacks, 13 first-half missed tackles, a fumble from Breece Hall, and zero turnovers forced. New York goes 0-5 and heads to London next week, leaving Aaron Glenn and his defense wondering how much longer they can survive this season’s meltdown.

Patriots Stun Bills, Ending Undefeated Streak

The New England Patriots pulled off a 23-20 upset over the previously undefeated Buffalo Bills Sunday night. Drake Maye finished 13-of-14 for 184 yards in the second half, totaling 273 overall, while Stefon Diggs posted 146 receiving yards for his second straight 100-yard game.

Buffalo’s ground game struggled with injuries and turnovers from Antonio Gibson and Rhamondre Stevenson, and the Patriots’ defense forced three turnovers while limiting James Cook to 49 rushing yards. Dalton Kincaid was a bright spot for the Bills with 108 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to preserve their perfect record.
